This team award is given to teams which show outstanding innovation, and consistently improve contract performance and ethically generate new business opportunities for IS&GS division of Lockheed Martin Corporation. The award is reviewed by the VP, CEO and the team is invited to a high level ceremony honoring the team with a trophy. Our team achieved this award for being instrumental in researching needs, developing prototypes, producing high level documents, and rapid production and prototype solutions for the FAA.
Earned by designing software and software requirements resulting in the rapid deployment of analysis software related to the Beth Paige incident allowing ATS specialists to automatically analyze Radar Video Maps from legacy formats against current data. Delegating and guiding junior and senior developers, enforcing documentation standards, test driven development and user interaction allowed us to provide the system within the customers deadline dictated by congressional mandate, saved our customer millions of dollars in production time and discovered hundreds potential safety risks in the product line securing the cost benefit for our team over the life of the contract.
In recognition of the technical expertise and software project delivery, allowing our contract managers to showcase our potential for innovation. This effort resulted in the awarding of a new line of business in support of our client, and the hiring of additional personnel in support of that new task order.
Winning this award precipitated a shift in my work paradigm from a Geography Specialist to a Software Developer. NISC Spot award for fully integrating production metrics and workload visualization program presented division management as a product of our support contract. Provides monthly CSR reports to division managers.
For development and demonstration of data driven Java applications and workflow improvements in support of the E-Standards and paper record and physical process reduction strategy being implemented by the FAA.
